Activity: Keeping a Journal - Children will write in their journals daily. Teacher facilitates by scripting what the child is drawing. Read back to the child what was written.
Skill Learned: The child is using the fine pincher grasp to write or draw in the journal. The child is also learning that print has meaning, both pictures and words.
