Activity: Ping Pong Painting in a Box - The child will scoop the ball out of the paint, drop it into a box lined with paper and roll the ball from side-to-side to create a fun art design. Encourage the child to extend the activity as long as her/his interest lasts.
Skill Learned: The child will experience cause and effect and demonstrate self expression throughout the activity. The control of the moving the ball through the sequence enhances pre-math skills and fine-motor skills directly related to reading.
