Our proprietary after school program offers before and after school care featuring curriculum developed exclusively for Children’s Learning Adventure. Students must be five years old and up, enrolled in private/public school. School holiday breaks and summer camp programs are also offered.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Children’s Learning Adventure Challenger curriculum is theme-based and child-centered with a strong focus on independent practice and implementation through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts & Mathematics) learning and discovery.
Our after school program provides a STEAM-based environment offering purposeful and challenging learning. At Children’s Learning Adventure we apply STEAM learning concepts in a variety of settings to improve critical thinking skills. Our students rotate through multiple learning environments including culinary, art, science, dramatic play, and our media center.
AFTER SCHOOL SPECIALTY CURRICULUM

Our students enhance their learning by taking learned concepts from their academic homeroom into an enrichment activity and apply the newly acquired knowledge to real-life situations. Additionally, specialty enrichment activities reinforce vocabulary, learning concepts, and social skills for better overall assimilation and comprehension.

Social Emotional Our character development curriculum supports social skills and self-esteem while embracing diversity.
Cooking Our culinary curriculum is designed to introduce basic cooking skills while reinforcing reading, math, science, and geography.
Science Our science curriculum is conducted in a dedicated math and science environment where our STEAM-based activities shine, fizz, and even explode! Each activity is designed to facilitate problem-solving and critical thinking. Teachers emphasize the process rather than any product in this room. Students are encouraged to explore, expand, and experiment while overcoming obstacles. Outdoor Science Our STEAM-based science and math learning is so fun and vast; it could not be contained in one classroom. You will see evidence throughout the campus incorporating the outdoors. Nature’s Nook outdoor science area provides a way of getting outside and learning about how things grow. Activities are designed to help students explore concepts from plant life cycles to weather patterns. Everything that works together to make our food grow and the air we breathe is fair game for exploration and experimentation.
Music and Drama Our music and drama curriculums provide students the opportunity to create, act, and communicate. From live TV broadcasts to comedy improv, students learn to express their ideas and predict the weather. Students who have access to dramatic arts experience increased kinesthetic, artistic, intra-personal, and interpersonal skills. Each activity is designed to foster communication while encouraging teamwork.
Sports and Fitness From football in the fall to tennis in the spring, students will learn essential sports concepts and how to be part of a team. Each season there is a new way to get moving and interact with other students at Children’s Learning Adventure. Inside and out, students have the opportunity to learn basic skills of most major sports and how to play new games. Students will compete in competitions and tournaments to test out what they have learned.
The Arts While learning about famous artists throughout history, students have the opportunity to learn various techniques and genres. The opportunity to learn about art and participate in its creation is proven to increase self-confidence, self-discipline, and creativity. Students who engage in art activities show increased gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. Art education is associated with improved motivation, concentration, critical thinking, and confidence.
